Council Services
The services provided by the Town Council include the following:
- the recreation fields and playgrounds at Parc-y- Fro and Square Field
- street cleaning by the environmental operator
- the maintenance of green amenity areas
- Banc Bach and Allt-y-graig woodlands
- the maintenance of a number of public footpaths
- the flower displays in the town
- festoon lights at the harbour
- a Christmas tree in the town and lights at Square Field at Christmas time. It also arranges the Community Christmas event.
It also makes an annual financial contribution to;-
- Ceredigion County Council in order to enable the South Beach toilets to be kept open during the summer months
- and also to the Aberaeron and District Swimming Pool.
