Council Services
The services provided by the Town Council include the following:
- the provision of playgrounds at Parc y Fro and Square Field
- the provision of Alltygraig woodland
- the maintenance of some public footpaths
- the maintenance of some hedgerows
- the provision of flower displays
- the provision of lights at the harbour
- the provision of a Christmas tree in the town and lights at Square Field at Christmas time. It also arranges the Community Christmas event.
It also makes an annual financial contribution to Ceredigion County Council in respect of the following:
- to enable the South Beach toilets to be kept open during the summer months
- to ensure that the Tourist Information Centre is open on Sundays during the summer months
and also to the Aberaeron and District Swimming Pool.
